These are Simmons heads, but I don't see this particular model on their website any more.  Supposed to be 215 grains, enroute in trade.

Yes that's a Centaur. He made the Battle Axe,and the Big Game head. I had a Centaur built, and talked with him about them he said they were expensive to make, and he wasn't making much money on them. I think if you had one of his bows you might be able to talk him into making some?

Interesting, I thought they were Simmons.  At 215 grains they will be alright.  Are they single bevel?

I'm pretty sure that he has offered both single and double bevel in the past.

We'll see what these are, hoping for double bevel.  No matter what these will be making live hard on some hogs.  Have a couple packages showing up in next few days.

They are double bevel and now trying to get them off the screw in adapters.  The one that was mounted with hot melt weighs 170.4 grains, yowzaa!

Terry, now I remember mention of a Battle Axe!  On hunt #1.  Have one ready for woodies, working on the other 9 heads with screw-in that seem to be stubborn coming off.

Looking forward to it, one weighs 165 grains, the other 9 range from 169.2-172.2 grains.  Put in oven at 350-375 degrees and after about two hours aluminum inserts pulled right out.  After I clean them all up we'll see, I expect 165-170 grains which is just Yummy!!  All my bows will push that head through hogs, deer and whatever else.

Wudstiks, I used a Centaur Big Game broadhead, like the one in your pic,for hunting wild boars. I killed 2 with one being a 250 Russian boar that didn’t make more than 20 yards with a great blood trail. The steel looks to be very hard and not really easy to sharpen ( I have all the jigs know by man)but once they are sharp they keep their sharpness.

Thanks, I'm getting a Rada.  And have a chain saw blade sharpener.

I think that Staysharp has a good jig for it or any knife sharpener tool with some rounded stones. Not sure if the Rada can work with a single bevel and IMHO it can’t make a super fine work, but some other can know more than me.
