'59 Bear Kodiak
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

For me its the 1968 (or any year close) Bear Tamerlane HC300, 68” with #40 @ 28”.  Not exactly a bowhunters ideal rig, but it was as good at 20 yards as my compound ever was.  And it got a few grouse and rabbits in its days too!
Any man who lives within his means clearly lacks imagination

I don't hunt with it often. But, to me, it's in a league all by itself.

Not sure of the exact year but a Bear Grizzly with nice timber from the 60's that I still own. I shot my first deer with it. A muley doe.

Stagetek that's a dandy.  Every time I see one I ask myself why I didn't buy one when I had the chance...  Thought about it many times never pulled the trigger on one.
KAZ I thought you would sing the praises of the HS.  That KB must be something.... :biglaugh:

Beeman - the decision was a tough one considering the age old beauty 1987 HS60 friend… The HS60 truly “deserves” Hall of Fame status in every sense of the word… That being said, if there’s one bow that I’m left with to get it done it is the 54”KB  :goldtooth:

Thank you for bringing her back to the spotlight she deserves  :campfire:
