Here lately there have been a lot of emotions and some bickering amongst us is beginning to rise. We are all human and it happens. That said, let me remind you that we have a
zero tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior. Expect to see those posts, threads, or members removed if we cannot behave.
This is on our mainpage as the guiding 3 rules of engagement...
- To offer a public access website for those that love the sport of hunting with traditional archery equipment - i.e., selfbows, longbows, and recurves.
- To create a friendly atmosphere to all. Dedicated to the discussion of all topics that relate to traditional bowhunting.
- To support traditional bowhunting and archery manufacturers, vendors, services and organizations - good folks that have their hearts and souls poured into the sport.
- Expect to be respected if you decide to join the gang, because the rule of respect is held highest of the few rules that apply. Tradgang.com has a zero tolerance for disrespect directed to anyone. If you want to disagree, then please do so in an adult manner. Debate is healthy, as one sword sharpens another, but it must be done in an honorable fashion.
Admin isn't trying to be hard nosed or mean. Our goal is to promote a family friendly site for generations to come and learn about the sport that we love in a
positive environment. Sometimes even we as admin may make questionable calls but in general if it's in the grey area and not clearly friendly or not, it may be pulled. It isn't personal when this happens, it is just us grooming the site to promote a positive place for us to enjoy. Debate is healthy and encouraged. Cursing, name calling, flying off the deep end, being a keyboard worrier, etc is not...often
how you say something is just as important as what is being said.
The above concept can be rephrased in a couple other ways...
- Be nice, or be gone.
- "treat people the same way you want them to treat you" - Matthew 7:12 NASB
If the above is unclear or you have questions about something questionable, just ask us first before you post it.
