I just found it on the website, sure enough, $15.00 surcharge.  I'm sick of this crap, costs of everything exploding, I think I'll just work for somebody else, put in my time, clock out and let them deal with the ins and outs of the business.   Or try UPS, but I can't even recover my user id and password, with their website.

I just sent a bow (T/D) out today, no surcharge, guess it's going to affect longer boxes

Pete, over 30” is the $15 surcharge. From 22-30” it’s a $4 surcharge. Under 22” no surcharge.

Just shipped a longbow in 72" pvc tube.  Yes $15 sur charge over 30".  Over all for insurance and everything, NE to FL $45.40.  This is about double the last bow I shipped, whatever.  The sad part is this is $15 for over 30" not 60 or 72 or 84.  Going to be hard to afford arrows.  Oh well, welcome to our time, somethings are better and some are not.

My Riverwolf Alpha quiver just cost me an extra $30.  It'll pay off when crawling/moving through thick Mesquite and black brush.  I can remember gas at 35 cents, what happened there?

I had a takedown bow delivered to me from within my own state. I expected it to be a little high because I needed it 2-day guaranteed. I about fell out when I was hit with $91.25!!!

Mike, for the current order that I have with you... I ordered it before this cost kicked in, and you'll ship it and have to pay the cost...  just let me know what the total shipping cost is... I'll cover it for sure.

Mike,  I would be dead with yesterdays medicine.  My 2022 Dodge Ram big Horn is the best pick up I have ever owned.  My wife (second wife) is the best woman I have ever known.  Please feel free to forward this to her.

Certainly Al dean, there are things that are better with me personally, Like I'm in better shape physically than I was 5 years ago, but I can't think of anything that's really going on that's better for the collective population.  My truck as well, is about the best vehicle I ever owned, but it was way over priced, I don't think it's really worth even half of what I paid for it.  But I'm not even going to write all the stuff that went down hill over the last year or 2.  :deadhorse:

Sorry about that Michael. It was a $15 ship charge before the $15 surcharge .  I am truly sorry , and hate to have to pass on this cost. .....I  checked USPS and we could have saved a couple bucks going that route ground. This usually runs an average of 8 days and many truck/load changes.  UPS is even more crazy 3 day (my quote was about another $10 over usps)      UPS retail is ground and again , save a few bucks ($3) and wait an average of 5 more days and many more load changes ?

It's bad . Almost all materials have doubled (if you can find them) and now this.

I couldn't agree more....except for adding "ALL" traditional archers/bowhunters  to that  !

I had a  few transactions that took place during this USPS surcharge. ( as in blindsided by them)The gents(Michael) one of them . We discussed this before the dealings were complete. They, like above agreed  without hesitation to cover the surcharge .   I applaud such men of honor as well....THANK YOU ! :clapper:

I have updated my shipping rates, to meet customers in the middle with the new surcharge.  Those who have orders on my books before USPS, gave us their surprise, don't need to do anything.   It's just part of owning a business, sometimes the other business you count on increase what they charge for one reason or another and we have to deal with it.  For years I've been trying not to kick the can down the road to my customers, but this time, what the U.S. postal service did will set me back an additional $200 - $300 a month, so I had no choice really.  I could get it if they increased the rates, and that came with increased quality and improved customer service, but it'll just be more of the same for twice the cost.

Economically speaking, I tend to agree with Mike. Not a damned thing. There have been very many conscientious postal workers who have developed a bad reputation due to the ineffective management of things that they can't fix. I don't intend any criticism toward these folks, but their management structure is inefficient. That said, I received a new bow yesterday that arrived without a hitch. Problem is, things will only get worse and not just regarding USPS.

Thanks, for your offer.  I am more than happy to pay your total asking price.  I e-mailed you stating the same.  Just a little vent, is all.
