I thought this might be a fun and appreciative way to show my admiration to the many Tradgangers that have contributed for years here and been a huge contribution to the site and Trad Bowhunting and are still hanging around.  However, some that have passed on will be listed as well.

This is not a *Bowhunting Award*, but a "Tradgang Award".

There are no set number of years Inductees have had to be here, but more about their contributions made to Tradgang.  They will not be in any sort of number, or order of rank, just as they come to mind or I see them posting.  I will try to add to this list every Monday 3-5 new inductees, this will take a while as there are SO many deserving.  Again, this is not a bowhunting or popularity contest, just a long time contribution recognition of appreciation from me.

However, there will be a #1

Mr Rob DiStefano. 

No way would we be here without him so he gets this honor extremely deserving.  I don't have enough words.

I'm also going to go ahead and get these four guys out of the way as I never imagined they would show up on Tradgang.....

Charlie Lamb, Tradgang's original story teller and Grand Traditional Bowhunter.

Ron LaClair, historical longbow figure with timeless content, including poetry.

Gene and Barry Wensel, the best bowhunting twins to ever live.

OK,.... now 3 that have gone on to the heavenly hunting grounds before us.

Bernie Dunn aka ber643, known for his relentless donations year after year on the St Jude Auctions.

Dean Torges, his whit and knowledge were both of equal value, which was extreme.

Chris Surtees, his love of Tradgang was overflowing.

Well done Terry,I remember you talked about this already few years ago. I think it is the right tribute to some great people and members.
Congratulations to all that are been named because they really deserved such honours..

This is awesome!  This can be used as a sort of index or even a glossary for anyone who is newer to the gang or especially new to Trad bow hunting..... to give them a starting point to explore and look into these people who have done so much for everything traditional bow hunting is.  Many are straight iconic and legendary and if you’re gonna be into traditional bow hunting,  you need to know this stuff.  Excellent idea for a thread Terry,  Thank You.   :thumbsup:

I changed the color of wording of the PS at the bottom of my original post as some are not reading it.  Its there for a purpose, and also its gonna get confusing enough as it is for me as I go along. :campfire:

This is going to be some task.... I said I was going to add 3-5 a week, well, I already added 10 for next week.  10 a week might be a better goal to get everyone listed....  :campfire:

This pleases me greatly Terry. 

Rob has been a good friend to me over the years. He not only rebuilt my entire web site when i got my first TG sponsorship at no charge, but went on to teach me HTML coding so i could maintain the site myself.
His patience with this bone head bowyer here while i learned a bit of what he does so well was/is amazing, and he's always been there for me when i need help...

I'm tickled to see him get this recognition and honor.....     Kirk
