I have always wanted a Schafer Silvertip takedown. I would like to see some of your bows. Thanks.

Their website is: schafersilvertipbows.com. If you go on it and then click on "Product Line", there are dozens of very good photos of their bows.

I no longer have either of mine because the grip just didn't sit quite right in my hands but they were both really beautifully crafted bows.

I’ve had about 11 Tips over the years. I’ve owned most of the big name bows and They’re in my top 3. Dave’s grip is my favorite out of them all. Here are a few:

They are my "gold disc" bows.  I have others, but if I am going on a big hunt or struggling with my shooting, I pick up one of the Silvertips and all is well again.  I have two takedown recurves, 45# @ 28 and 51# @ 28, a one-piece recurve, 54# @ 28 and a takedown longbow with 3 sets of limbs, 51#, 55# and 60# (the 60# set is a bit much for me now).  I probably shoot the one-piece recurve the most, but the 45# is great for late season and the longbow practically points itself.

The one-piece is going with me to Stickflingers in about 10 days.
