What is happening in Baltimore?
« on: May 08, 2022, 11:48:55 PM »
My truck is mostly packed. After laundry and groceries, when should I arrive?
 :goldtooth:

Killdeer
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I think the last time I saw you was when we got rained off the course at my club!
Wish we could have a campfire sometime. You are good folks. :campfire:

Well, I’m leaving tomorrow morning, so go run and tell that!

Thanks Paul! Folks are starting to show up, and targets get set tomorrow!

Looks like it'll be a wet one this year, but not too chilly.  Hopefully I'll be able to drive up on Sunday at least.  I haven't really shot since last years Baltimore shoot, so guess I should bring some extra arrows!

   As much as I would like to be there I am overwhelmed with work and other important things around my house.
   I have several friends that went up last night and I’m praying the weather stays nice for all that attend . If the Lord is willing I may possibly be there on Saturday but if that rain hits I’ll pass and stay home and pout :banghead:

Weather bug says it will just be a slight chance in the overnight hours. I am watching it closely because of my canvas tent.

Arrived around 9:30an on Sunday with my wife and 10 year and 1.5 year old sons.  The little one fussed about not getting to walk on his own where ever he wanted until about 12 targets in, so we put him in the hiking carrier; too bad I'm not training for a western mountain hunt because that constantly shifting extra 30lbs was a workout.

The course was good, as it has been every other time.  And I didn't lose or break any arrows.

I also see my son is too big for his bow.

I was there Friday and Saturday just a few light showers.  Wasn't as crowded as years past.
