I should intro myself...
« on: May 05, 2008, 08:49:00 PM »
Hi fellow trads, I've already made a few newbie posts but I realized I should also introduce myself. I'm a few months new to the great and ancient sport of stick and string. I wish I had discoverd this many moons ago. For me it is akin to being reborn...
My first bow is a CM Hunter II recurve and I have a lighter 45# Falcon on the way... I've just finished fletching my first dozen with various tips. (I hav'nt even been out stump shooting yet -- but I sure hear the coyote's calling me!)

I don't want to rant, but thanks for all the advice and info I've been getting and for this amazing resource forum on traditional archery.

I dont like them, since they moved in to our hunting land, all the rabbits disapeered, but I know what you mean about being away from the noise and concrete  :archer:

Welcome Shade Seeker,
Glad you've seen the light. I shot a 3D this weekend with a handfll of trad shooters. Two of which I had never met before. By noon we were like long lost brothers. I hope you will enjoy the calling as much as I do. Peace

Welcome!  Be careful about seeking to arrow the "Trickster", he could make your arrows or bow nevr shoot straight.  Be sure to sneak up on him, and make the perfect shot!
