USPS new Motto is " It gets there when it gets there, maybe".

There Tracking page is useless.
It gives a date when it will be delivered when they receive it.
After that Date it goes blank.
Tracking History---No such thing.

Ya… ya… complain all you want. Try shipping UPS or FedEx and see what it cost you……. I’ve had great luck with USPS over the years. I use the shipping over seas too with no issues.    Kirk

I’ll take USPS any day. Ups and fedex always do their best to tack on extra fees and charges. When I questioned the extra charges and asked why the post office can ship the same thing without any brokers or other crap, they piled on the bs. You’d think they’re staffed by politicians. I just ordered some game call supplies from the US and the place I buy from emails me with shipping options and costs. USPS always beats the rest by a mile. Just my 2 cents. 🙂

I've always relied on USPS and haven't been disappointed. Most stuff I send Priority Mail and in many cases it is only slightly more cost than regular parcel post.

I've shipped three bows recently (and dozens over the last few years) via USPS and have had zero issues of any sort.  The bow I shipped yesterday was a longbow almost 70" long and it shipped in a PVC tube three day priority across the country for $30.  Seems like a bargain compared to FedEx or UPS.  I have to use FedEx for work and it is EXPENSIVE comparatively.  The lady at the local USPS counter is even super friendly.

Just saying everything I get or ship has to go threw Memphis Tn. , must be some sorry folks up there ( :smileystooges:), I know because I lived there for 33 years.

Original delivery date was 5-16-22, still no date or history. :dunno:
I understand they are cheaper

We ship 10 to 50 packages a day and yes, some get delayed.. and an occasional item gets lost or damaged, but for averages or percentages, USPS rules! We have had far more issues with UPS and FEDEX with only 1% of the usage.

It's not just about price.. but that doesn't hurt.

Just a heads up on shipping long bows in a pvc tube. They have a lot of issues with those round tubes rolling off the conveyor belts in some of the USPS routing warehouses, or distribution terminals. I don’t know what they are called exactly.
Anyway…. A lot of guys have had their bows destroyed using pvc tubes by themselves….. The trick to using those tubes is taping a triangle box around them so they don’t roll around. Or just a cardboard corner.

Thought I’d pass that along. I got this straight from USPS, and it makes sense to me….      Kirk

I had a tip get knocked off in a PVC tube. Must have took a hard bounce on the end because it was even padded and the tip went through the padding.

Even though it was insured,  I got no resolution from USPS. Fortunately I was able to glue it back on.  Other than that, they have been very reliable in my area.

I talked with my Postman today and discussed some of the things you mentioned...  He said, "Is this guy's name, Mad Max??"   I said, Yes...  He said, "We just plain out, don't like the Guy.."

Staying under the radar comes natural...

I can go to a party and 200 pictures will be taken and I won't be in one of them... And I'm not even trying to avoid them...
