I used to hunt them hard every spring, now only when I happen across them while hunting elk. Once every couple of years I have a bear come by my treestand but the land owner doesn't allow me shoot any of them.
I don't like baiting them so all of my bear hunting is spot and stalk. My all time favorite hunt is Alaskan brown bear, there is no feeling that matches stalking to within selbow range of an Alaskan costal brown bear.

"If I get to stalk just ONE bear or not, the season is worth it. I LOVE the anticipation of 'what might happen' every time I go in the woods."
