Some Bows

Not many pictures posted on bow building lately , so I thought I would post some. :bigsmyl:

3 Sheepeater  Sprits   (Shoshone Big Horns) 50" Static and a Recurve 60"

The braced one still needs shaping and will have a Rattan wrap for the grip, floppy leather arrow rest 2" above center.

The other bow are ready for spray finish

From top to bottom--, Osage veneers Osage Riser, Bocote veneers African black wood riser, Olive Spectraply veneers and Osage riser,  Spalted osage veneers and Riser
The Orange is Padauk

Wow! I'll say it again; You make some fine looking bows. Nice to see some uncluttered, yet eye catching bows.

Where do you find that rattan.  Sure looks nice and clean. 

What are the strings for??

I took the tip over and underlays off the one I got from you and glued on some new ones .  :thumbsup:

Beautiful works there Max!  That rattan is a fantastic idea.  I'd love to see a finished photo after it got all shaped out.
