Ive had several pieces of osage riser material in the basement for a couple years.  Very little natural light exposure and it still got pretty dark.

If you can see in the basement without turning the lights on it will turn darker

I have a Osage table in a room without windows and it’s been 10 years and It’s still yellow

That gets your attention. Really like the grey. The yellow might scare the ravin's off the mountain.
