Shhhhh!

Keep it under your hat, but...
You may have heard me mention that my son has introduced his fiance to trad archery through my old Ben Pearson Super Jet bow (I got this from Dad back in 1969, my first trad bow!)...we've gone up to the north woods several years running now and she shoots it pretty well! Sometimes better than me or my son, but I digress...
Well, he decided to get her a birthday present this year, and purchased a NIB Bear Montana bow, 35# @ 28". He dropped it at my house for safekeeping and hiding the other day and man, what a beauty! Part of the gift is for me to make her a set of custom woodies once he lets the cat out of the bag and gifts her the bow, the feathers, nocks and color scheme to be of her choosing. I'll be sure to get a few in-prog pix posted here once we work out the details. Stay tuned!
I just love watching new people getting turned on to trad archery, and hopefully, trad hunting.  :campfire:

:clapper: So what is not to like? Awesome gifts and hopefully another person not glued to their phone.
to me it has always been an exciting thing to get anyone shooting a trad bow. like so many others, have given a number of bows as well as the things needed to shoot them. When done right, it is a very personal gift never to be forgotten.

Sounds good to me. A win win for you as you have family to shot with especially you son and daughter-in-law.  Recently we got my wife’s sister and her husband back into shooting. They went out and bought a couple recurves and I made up arrows for them. A double win for us and me. Got to make arrows.
