Latest work - kitchen/chopper with maple burl handle

Finished this one up last week, as a donation for a local fundraiser (for one of the guys in my hockey league that broke his neck earlier this year). Hopefully should bring decent money.
96 layers of 1095/15n20 with a stabilized spalted maple burl handle. One of my friends donated the maple burl - he had it kiln dried from a tree on his property. I was able to stabilize it, and it buffs up beautifully.

Thanks guys! Proud to say it raised a good chunk of change on Saturday night at the auction.
Doesn't hurt that it went to a good friend of mine.

It is a great knife. I'm glad that it raised a nice amount in the fund drive. Congratulations.
