After passing on several little bucks this year I finally decided enough is enough, this afternoon I shot this guy with my Toelke whip 53@29 and my last 160 snuffer. I'll go back and see if I can find it tomorrow in daylight.

Congratulations to all the successful hunters.

This years buck, taken with my 58# selfbow Hooligan, Surewood shaft arrows, and Eclipse 4 blade broadhead.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Thanksgiving morning buck. Toelke Whip and Surewood Shafts tipped with 160gr VPA 3 blades. He was dead in seconds and I watched him fall.

Ohio on a cold, snowy, windy, day but I didn't mind it a bit.

I got this guy Nov 12 in central Wisconsin. 9 yard shot and easy recovery. I saw him stumble but he was just out of sight where he landed. Used my trusty "Robertski" recurve. Robertson riser with home made limbs. Traditional only shafts, woodsman broadhead, and trad vanes.
