A little swamped with work right now, but I will add some details later. On my part, this was the most physically taxing hunt that I have ever been on, covering lots of miles in 100 degree temps, with relatively little morning hunting when there would have been slightly cooler temps. This was mostly to allow the wind to pick up to improve stalking conditions and to allow for time for the buffalo to get to the river and drainages where they would be more stalkable.
I have never had a hunt in which my performance was so poor, but I also had some bad luck and equipment failures that didn't help matters much. I will explains some of these a little bit later.
