I wash my Damascus gloves in warm water and soap, rinse well, put it on my shooting hand to reshape it then set it aside to let it dry. After it is dry I put it back on and give it a good rubbing with Montana pitch blend. I let it sit for a hour or so then put it back on and wipe any excess pitch blend off with a soft rag. I usually do this at the end of the season to get the salt out of the leather and again during the summer if needed. I've done this since I started using a Damascus glove over 30 years ago. Back then Damascus gloves cost $9.50.
