Dryad Orion - slightly modified

Put some Limbstations from Onestringer and some sure grip on my new Orion. Limbs had black glass. I liked the look of the black glass, but though I would give it the ASAT treatment. The Limbstations are printed on a mat stock, so they do not have the gloss finish. I like this bow.

Mike, I like the way the bow shoots. Bow has good mass, very stable in the hand, good speed. bow is also very quiet. I have been shooting AD Heavies, cut 29" and about 550 grains, and they fly well. The grip feels very good. I might of put a little more palm swell on the grip, but not much. Overall, the bow as good or better than any 3 piece longbow I have shot - and I have shot a few! This bow is going to go whitetail chasing this fall, and I usually hunt with recurves.

That ASAT looks pretty good next to the bocote. Glad to hear your report. Looking forward to "reviewing" mine. Time to get ready for next season is now.

I just put a EF bolt on quiver on mine. I like the bow more and more every day. Plenty fast and one of the quietest bows I have shot. I'm shooting 590 grain arrows and when I can get some heavier ones made up this thing will be ninja quiet. The only problem is driving my arrows through the target and ripping my fletchings off.

Here you go. Dryad Orion 61@28, bloodwood riser. EF bolt on quiver, black with black shark skin. I may do some of those limsations, but my next limbs will have some diamondbacks!
