Does anyone shoot one of these bows? How do they rank in terms of noise and performance?
thanks,
Tom.

I shot one and thought it was a great bow. Very fast and quiet. I picked it up and shot about ten groups exactly where my Morrison Dakota shot.

Shot one in harrisburg. By know means does it make me an expert but the bow was very smooth and quiet. Rick is a top notch fella!! Joe

I had a slapstick that was very quiet and a good shooter. I shot that bow exclusively for 2 1/2 years. It turned out the bow was a better shooter than I was. I'm not a very good shot with a longbow and found I did better with recurves. Hence, I no longer have the slapstick and now shoot a recurve.
If you are a longbow guy, I think you would be pleased with it. I just couldn't do it justice.

I have a 60" #46@26" I figure about #51@ my 28"draw Slapstick. I'm shooting CX 45/60 Rebel at around 480gr., and the bow seems pretty quick. Smooth draw, quiet, virtualy no handshock, just a great shooting nice handling little bow. I really like the matte finish Rick puts on these bows.

I'm fairly new to longbows after shooting compounds and an old Bear Grizzly for years. I bought a used Slapstik 56" 58#@28 and have been very impressed with it's performance as it shoots better than I can.
My friend who has far more trad experience bought one shortly afters shooting mine and also likes his. The bows are ultra light, draw smoothly and are dead in your hand after release.
