Are these suggestions survival broadheads or just your favorite?  :dunno:

Good question Pat.  My favorite broadhead would not be my choice for survival.
Yes, my favorites are the Snuffer, VPA, and Grizzly Instinct.  For indestructability I'd lean heavily on the heavy Ribtek.

Probably a 3 blade VPA.  If you only a had one, the 3 blade is super strong.  Might go for the short stubby version. Although if you didn’t have access to a file or super flat surface, a 2 blade Ace might be a better choice.  I bet I could sharpen the larger heads with a stone that I could find.

I guess anything I would be able to sharpen with a rock and fix to the shaft without glue, so I'm leaning here on a solid trade point.

Never shot them but possibly a Abowyer single bevel.

X2 Smokin Joe. Having shot 3 blades all my life, the Grizzly Instinct is the ultimate.

Yes, the question was obviously that you would have a bow and arrows.  If not, I would have asked what survival knife.  :campfire:

I know it said broadhead, which mine would be a Bear razorhead (a favorite).  But for a survival arrow and point, I'd have to go with a bowfishing point.  Fish and small game are more plentiful than other things.  Many have huge barb to prevent game/fish loss, and can take a bounce off a rock or two without trashing it.  Most bowfishing have a way to recover the arrow by string vs launching an arrow and the game runs away or overshoot and it sails away.

Zwicket Delta or No Mercy, two or 4-blade.  Or a STOS two blade, or a Hunter's head, or a Hill head or a Woodsman.  So many good choices. I would be satisfied with any one of them.

I too like to one piece cast big 2 blade.  That would probably be the most practical head.  Stronger than a laminate, easy to sharpen on a rock, and could serve as a skinning too if need be.

Have a few old Magnus heads that would get used up....

As well as a few Grizzlies

Until they are all gone....
