Maine Black Bear taken on a hunt with Roger and Toby from Black Widow, with my PLX with Osage Limbs and Cocobolo riser. 64", 44@28. Smooth shooting and built like a tank.

I think  a couple "Brothers of the bow" are gonna be po'ed when they find you been setting one of there stands ..... :biglaugh:

Fine "BULL" Denny !

Have a question for you .... .

It appears your PL's have a slightly different , more refined shelf/rest/grip ....or is this simply an optical  due to the pictures ?(one's posted on this thread)
I  personally like smaller  narrow shelfs for clearance , and was curious if these are special order  of stock offerings .

Thanks in advance ....great looking bows everyone & Congrats on a fine Christmas Bull Denny .... :clapper:

Ralph, my bows are stock shelf and standard grip, nothing custom. Widow has the shelf down to a science providing max clearance.

Thanks for the reply Denny .

Must just be an optical the way the bows are positioned in the picture ?

Fine looking bows .  I like  charcoal risers  , but that  Green-Leaf (emerald green;)  is pretty nice looking ....

Thanks for the great pictures and info everyone  :clapper:

I love my PLX. It’s been a great bow. Easy to point and shoot for me. I’d always wanted one and finally got one last fall in 2021. Certainly has lived up to my expectations. Haven’t done worth a flip bow hunting big game this fall and now winter, but I did well last year with it!

I'm trying to decide between bocote and cocobolo when ordering a new PLX. It's a tough decision ...

Coco is my second favorite for tropical woods. I’ve had some that looked sweet with coco and zebra wood, but that was on a recurve.  Myrtle makes some cool veneers too for domestic wood.

The Pl is a fine longbow. I used to own several myself before I started building bows.
A finer group of guys you will never meet... but don't tell them I said that!   :biglaugh:
