Tim,
The bow that I had in mind is my first ever custom ordered longbow. It was made by a good friend of mine. He isn't making bows any more but if he had stuck with it I have no doughts he would be well known. I have a new camera to play with. I'll see if I can get some pics to ya if your interested in taking a look at it.

Tim I want to thank you for showing how to do this. Here are some pictures of the bow I'm building for my grandson that now sports a stippled grip. I think I'll add a bit more to the grip to match the way I did to mine.

Great Job Galen!
It get's easier with every bow. When you have a bow with an accent stripe down the center try not stippling the accent stripe but rather going around it....it gives the riser a real neat look. I got the idea from Dave Windauer who checkers around the accent stripe not through it on his Silvertips.

Nice job! Benbow! I like the pattern.
Yeah, Tim I have another bow that I did that has a flare and I left the flare and accent stripes alone and it looks very nice.
