I don't like to but it has to do with my vision not it bothering arrow flight.  I can though.  It's gotten easier since I went to a gap system but, still messes with me.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Hope this helps. I shoot a 64" longbow (with minimal cant) out of a Xenek blind that is 73" tall. I have found that chair height has a big impact upon whether or not my bow hits the top of the blind at release. I use a Millenial swivel chair with the adjustable legs. I have them set at the shortest setting and I have yet to have my bow limb hit the blind when shooting at an animal. Nothing special about the chair brand, it's just what I happen to have.

I'm not much of a pop-up blind hunter but in 2007 I blew out an ACL while running, supposedly for my health, a week before bow season. I bought a Primos Double Bull Darkhorse recurve model blind and that was where I spent my season that year. I still have it and have hunted with a 66" longbow out of it, so for a pop-up it has been money well spent. I don't know what Primos is turning out these days but this one has never had a problem, visibility is good and once you get the hang of it, set up is quick and easy.
Lefties are the only ones who hold the bow in the right hand.

I think y'all missed where he prefers to stand to shoot.

I definitely missed the part where he prefers to stand to shoot. That complicates things a lot when it comes to blind height.

Yea, standing cause I'm new to trad and getting it right means standing for me at this time.  Maybe next season will see me sitting, I can see the benefit.

Even my 80" tall Big Mike isn't tall enough for to shoot my 62" recurve bow while standing. Maybe if you shoot with enough of a cant?

Stan, try shooting from a kneeling position. Upper torso maintains same orientation as standing.
shoot straight shoot often

All good feedback.  Actually, I've never tried sitting and shooting.  I need to get with the program.

WINDOW HEIGHT is the problem that can be cured with vertical windows. Only blind I'm aware of that has them is Double bull. The horizonal windows are too high to shoot out of with a recurve. With my DB I can shoot a 64" recurve (sitting).

Stan, I have a big mike blind but I much prefer the Flare XT from sportsman’s guide. It is 80” tall and it is really roomy.  I use a swivel hunting chair and shoot sitting.  The windows I shoot thru are the corner windows. I position the blind so a corner is pointing in the direction I want to shoot, my chair is then positioned in the diagonal width of the blind. I can swivel my position as needed and have lots of room to maneuver my bow and shoot.

I practice shooting sitting and kneeling..for me there was very little difference from position to position..

One of those times when being vertically challenged pays off. I do love a good swivel chair in a blind though.

Stan I shoot out of a blind standing on both knees. I wear knee pads. This is exactly the same form as shooting standing on your feet.

old man old stuff. In years past I went down to my local walmart. Bought bolt camo by the yard and ( whatever box size you want) say 20 ft long gives ya a 5ft side box. Get some heavy cork board pins like the ones with plastic ends. You can find your spot pin up on on trees and make a quick blind. Deer that find ya will walk around down wind and wind or see ya. Thats when you use short blind with opening. Ive had then a 5 yards in the past. I shoot 66 in rec and longsticks. No top to cause a problem. You will get caught with head and shoulder above the line. To help with this I started putting another round of camo above the first run. Leave space between for shooting opening ( whatever you like) The double is great for taking kids just buy a longer run of camo to to box size yu would like. If you sit back to back and put them down wind most of the time they see deer first which lights up there little hearts. Get to brag in camp they spotted deer first. Ie better hunter than dad. You can throw the whole thing in a back pack and weight nothing and goes anywhere. I like to use a painted 5 gal bucket with a swivel seat lid. Sit on the bucket with space to shot all around. If you cut them to size you can set up to shoot sitting or stand up and shoot over. yet head and shoulders covered till you stand up.
anyway something to think about.

I really like my Hidden Hunter, especially for keeping heavy snow off the roof.
