Pat,
TWIN OAKS  seems to have the best game diversity of anywhere with mountain goats feeding on Beechnut's to elk browsing on white oak acorns  and even ole Big foot himself out picking tulip poplar blossom's and up around the cabin you will see kids playing in the creek, hear fiddle and banjos music around the camp fires in the evening and in the cool crisp air of the morning smell the bacon and Dutch oven sour dough biscuits cooking over red oak and hickory coals of the camp fires banked up form the night before ..... so if this shoot has been on your bucket list for a while best stir that bucket some so it will come to the top I hope to see all of ya'll there come may

gm,

Pappy and the Twin Oaks Bowhunters have asked me to announce that as of this coming Tenn. Classic no dogs will be allowed, not even in the campground. Last year a young boy was bitten just because he walked by the camp where the dog was, the year before 2 people were bitten plus folks aren't cleaning up after their dogs.
Pappy loves dogs. He has 2 that live on the farm but during the Classic they are locked in their pen. He hopes everyone understands but the liability is just too high.

You have my full support on this issue , we have adopted the same policy for KyTradFest. It’s the responsible thing to do.

Pat I seen you on the vendor list. What kind of leather items do you sell? We'll have to compare notes.

Greg, I'll have side stalker style quivers, back quiver, Plains style quivers, arm guards and shoulder bags. This is what I brought last year and is how I pay for my trip to Twin Oaks.

Looking good there Pat.. This will be my first time setting up at Twin Oaks. Here's what I'll be taking. Mostly quivers.  I do have knife cases and a few other things.

I love the ‘herd’ shots at TN Classic. I can appreciate the time, effort, and huge sums of money that it takes to do this. Targets ain’t cheap, especially 5 or 6 caribou at one stake, but man, it looks AWESOME !!!
This year I will be donating a Black Hunter recurve (30#@28”),quiver, and 6 carbon arrows as a starter kit for someone in need, preferably a youngster.
It ain’t a bad looking rig, and a good performer.
 Can’t wait to get there.

You'll see these beautiful selfbows and others being made in the bow shop over the weekend.

Pappy and the Twin Oaks gang cleared out another camping area above the other beyond the other camping area.

...and even have firewood waiting for you.
