Help!! Looking for best informational bow building book

I started a bamboo backed hickory bow years ago id like to finsish it i beleive im at the point where i start tillering . But id also like a good guide to building bows. Thanks

Where are you in Florida?   Several of us here hail from the Swamp...

For more traditional wood bows I've always favored The Traditional Bowyers Bible Vol 1 -- you can get it as a free download PDF.

I lived in wv my whole life moved here 8 years ago just too crowded for me. But my old lady is from here and have 2 kids so im not going anywhere for a while

Yes it was culture shock for me. Im hoping to talk her into moving one day. I just cant imagine the kids growing up here.

There are a few good books to be had. Like Ken mentioned, the TBB series covers a lot of bases. Steve Graf has a good book on building ASL's. Don't know of any books related to making recurves or R/D bows?

For wood bows I would second the recommendation for The Traditional Bowyer's Bible, all 4 volumes.

I am with Pat.  Torges has about everything covered on a wood bow that you could ask.  Takes a couple readings and a lot of shavings to totally digest everything he says.   The Stephen Graff book Buggs mentioned is a good one for ASL's too.
