What string material now?

G'day all.
I've been using BCY-X to make my strings for my Blackwidow longbows for a while now, and have had great results with it. But it seems that it is no longer available.
Therefore it looks like I need to change.
So.........what string material would you recommend and why ??
Many thanks
Best
Lex

Honestly the 97 is an okay material. Lasts well and very little set time needed. That said the X was more quiet imo.

I just had a endless loop string made from 8125 for my ILF bow. IMO it’s as quiet as the BCY-X especially on metal riser with carbon/foam limbs.

BCY X99 is the replacement for BCYX it’s a little smaller in dia. so requires a couple more strands but it’s lighter. It’s basically BCYX upgraded

All of my Fastflight strings are made of BCY Mercury, older non-FF bows use B-55.
