Bingham one piece bows

I've made several take down bows but been getting a itch to make a one piece ..was wondering if anyone has made and or shot one of Bingham one piece bows. Are they very smooth and a good shooting bow? Thanks

I’ve made them when I fest started out. I won a few 3-D shoots with it. Nice design and easily modified with design tweaks after a few under your belt. Nice one piece to start out with.

What Gary said above is right on... You can increase performance on that design by increasing the taper rate, lengthening the riser fades with power lams, and using a tip wedge.... But the geometry of the limb isn't bad at all.... I still have the first one i built from the Binghams R/D long bow design in 2006.    Kirk

Hey Gary..... Didn't we first meet in about 2010 up at the western states rondy in Washington? I think Chinook archers hosted it that year.  Cant remember.    Kirk

A very good design. Have built a few and took my second trad deer with one.
One of the top end bow companies still uses that design.

Don’t get to many shoots anymore, more into ocean fishing anymore. But might hit the Rock shoot this year. I love that bottom fishing Ocean critters.

There is a guy here who has better bow building info and sells all the supplies necessary. Plus you can actually get advice real time! Trying to get specific info from some suppliers, is an exercise in frustration.

Sounds like me bro,,, more fishing that 3D shooting by far any more. I wish my wife was more comfortable on the ocean. i finally get a sea worthy craft, and she's too spooked to go out...I slipped outside a couple times with my son in law this year when it was flat, but we were fishing chinook at the time. I too like the bottom fishing.    Kirk
