NorCal newbie questions
« on: May 10, 2008, 02:40:00 PM »
Hi tradgangers!

I'm new to archery and trad gear but am progressing quickly. I'm looking for trad shoots preferably not too far from Sacramento where I live. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Go to the following website  http://www.cbhsaa.net/
There you will a calender of shoots all over Ca. Some are trad only, some are mixed trad/compound. Along with the calendar you can also find directions to the ranges for the various clubs and their shoots.

I've been a little out of touch, I thought I was set up to get notification if anyone replied to this post.

Thanks for the tips. I guess I missed the western states event but I'm going to try and make some 3D events that are comound/trad.

Thanks again!

Che,
Traditional Archers of CA, as well as the cbhsaa, will answer what you're asking. The next one I'm going to is in late September in Petaluma.
Pork, Oysters, and Beer...the Holy Trinity (Anthony Bourdain).
