New Marriah Chinook!
« on: May 10, 2008, 05:24:00 PM »
Here's my new Marriah Chinook: 52#@28, Macassar Ebony riser with Bocote & Maple accents, Zebrawood limbs, Elk antler tips and riser accent.  Ric did a great job and these are awesome shooting longbows!

BTW...the mark on the limb edge in the tip close-up is a rain drop - it was starting to rain when I shot these pics.

Beautiful bow.  My Thermal will have Mercassar Ebony and Cocobolo with bamboo limbs.  Should be done in Aug.  I called Ric and he said the riser is all glued up.  I cannot wait.  Ken

I've got a Thermal on order.  It'll be Macasser Ebony and Bocote in the riser, I left the remainder of the accents up to Ric's artistry.  The limbs will be either bamboo or bamboo with Bocote veneers, I don't remember now which I ordered.  I need to give Ric a call and find out where mine stands on his list.

I forgot to add that Ric builds one of the most beautiful bows you can buy and they are great shooting bows, too.    :)    :D
