That model doesn't have a very desirable angle of attack for me.

I remember when magnus made real broadheads, before they sold themselves out to the compounders.

If you questioning if they work.  They most certainly will.  I personally prefer the stinger buzzcuts 4blade. I have a good friend who uses the head in question out of 40-42 lb recurves.  The blood trails are better than I expected.   I have used Magnus’s replacement warranty and have nothing but positive feedback about them.

A two or four blade stinger out of a wheelie bow is still much better than those junk mechanicals most of those guys shoot. They’re also shaving sharp out of the package. Especially good since most of those guys can’t sharpen fixed heads

I agree that there are better options on the market that have a sleeker “angle of attack” as Terry called it. But for whitetail I don’t worry about it. Deer aren’t built all that tough…. PERFECT arrow flight, hunting weight arrow setup, sharp broadhead, and you SHOULD shoot through deer with any cut-on-contact head. Shot placement matters too - drives me crazy when someone hits a deer in the ball joint and blames not recovering the critter on the broadhead.

Yes sir!!! I hunt a lot of areas that have deer and hogs, so that's what I based my answer on.

Deer are basically a paper grocery bag full of shaving cream, a few Tinker Toys, and one ball joint.  Just stay away from the ball joint!

And for those that are not old enough, here's the Tinker Toys......

Now just add shaving cream and a grocery bag and ya got yourself a whitetail.  :goldtooth:
