That’s very nice Jon,
4 point I really like the look of that riser you’re working on. I like it when they flow like that. Well done

Kenny, will be by morning. Blowing 50mph and dumping snow. At least this one supposed to be done by morning. Last one we got in December lasted 4 days. Good day for making bow strings.

Thanks guys.

Ended up taking off the later part of the afternoon and ground all the limb parts and got one in the form today. Hard to work when you feel like you are on a roll!

Hey Jeff. What part of Iowa do you live?

My wife and I purchased a roof top tent last week and have spent the last 4 days traveling the South to avoid the rain from y’all’s winter storm! The fish were not biting :(

Yes, I like the ends of overlay to be tight against the glass, and that just helps if there is any variance.  I fit til there is no gap but thats just insurance.  :)

You got more patients than me I would be glueing thin pieces that would bend when clamped.

Finally got into the shop today and got my new Resaw King blade on my band saw.

I got enough stuff cut out for 2 bows and enough lams for spares.

Bubbinga and Zebra Wood with Wenge and quarter sawn Sycamore accent.

The Zebra wood on one bow will be turned one way and the other bow will be in the stripe direction.

Zebra wood on the back, black glass on the belly with bamboo core and maple belly.
