Thanks guys, I used some curly canary wood for veneers. I think they’ll match the Osage well after the Osage darkens.

It’s a cnc router. It’s just a small desktop setup, and really made for engraving. I don’t have the bandsaw skills some of you do!

You could use that CNC router to make jigs for a profiling sander. I for one could use a coupler more jigs.

So my first attempt out of my deflex/reflex form was off for some reason. Gluing up another blank today the form broke. Not a good day.

A few small updates. Everything but the tip overlays are glued up. Hopefully I’ll get it profiled up this week.

That’s gonna be a nice one Nicholi.
I just noticed my glue lines aren’t great on the one side of the bow. The shelf side is fine but the other isn’t great. I checked my sander and it’s still true. Had to be in the laminations. I can’t remember if I checked both sides or not. Sorry in advance to my victim.

Thanks to everyone for keeping up with the swap so far. I have to leave for one last trip for work this week so I will be on mobile if you guys need me. I will be gone approximately 3 weeks. Most of you have my phone number or can PM me if you need something. I will still be keeping up on this but will only have internet and cell service in the evenings. Notice the 3 marks an inch apart from ends? I like to do that and check with calipers to keep both fades the same. Prob don't need to but I still do it...

Glue in morning, got a kid test bow in oven and not sure if the other air hose is any good .

Those marks you talk about are good but that is why I make profiling jigs only have to fight it once while making the jig.
