Takes alot more time but well worth it..

I have done a lot of those over the years, and it’s real challenging to grain match all the limb butts to the center overlay and get all the wedges and lams lining up at the connection. But…. That’s what makes it look like a one piece bow.

 I charge an extra $150 for the full overlay flush limb pocket option on my bows. Then I charge another $100 for the blind limb mounts running the limb bolts internally. That helps cover the extra time invested.

Don’t see too many guys doing it out there either….  Carry on bro… ya do nice work.  Kirk

This is one of my favorite builds. It's osage from Osage Outlaw, 60" t/t, with cow sinew and water snake backing pulls about 56#@26". The recurves(my most dramatic) I used dry heat and oil to bend and the belly cracked so I used yew underlays to support the recurves. The rest of the stuff in the pic was my hunting kit...

Probably close to 2". As short as the working part of the limbs are I gave it a little more width than usual.

Good looking bow Max. 1.250 did it have any forward taper
