I'm planning on going hog huntin' here in Al.Do any of yall have any pics or diagrams of hog vitals and where the arra needs to go???Thanks for the help.

i think "Biggie" posted on a similar thread & a had a good picture of the vitals.."Apex Predator" did also as i recall. you might search back for that thread or send a pm to them & see if they can send it to you.

This ones pretty good. If you shoot them "behind the shoulder" like a deer you get a gut shot. I like to aim about 3" above the elbow which is pretty much straight in line with the leg when they are broad side.

I think Don Thomas wrote that nothing goes down quicker than a perfectly hit hog; and nothing is easier to lose than a slightly-less-than-perfectly hit hog. I put an arrow through the top of both lungs on a sow yesterday, and she made about 60 metres.
