Does anyone stop using their bows if it gets down to really cold temps?

Nope. Coldest I've been out was minus 20 fahrenheit. Fred Bear hunted Polar Bear for days on end with the temps well below freezing.

I'm sure my bows will perform in really cold weather but I cannot say I would.
In all seriousness I can only attest to the performance in the mid to upper teens. I've killed a couple of pigs and a turkey in in the mid teens and low twenties but honestly, that is about as cold as I want to sit for hours in.

Yeah I was wondering what people’s experiences were. Things do tend to get more brittle at lower temps

Way back when I was shooting a bow with wheelthingies at the end of the limbs I had troubles with plastic vanes getting stiffer and becoming brittle. Then I saw the light and went back to my recurve, cedar arrows with feather fletch. I never have problems with the equipment now. However, at 73 I do have problems with ME! When it gets below 20 F my hands get stiff and I need extra clothing that makes an effective draw harder. So, I generally hunt much less once the temps go below the high 20s. Getting old ain't for sissies! But some things get so hard that you have to adjust or quit. And quitting bowhunting is NOT and option.

Brittle? Never take a bow from a heated tent, string it and set it outside when it is below freezing. Leave it outside at night, or unstrung outside until it is cold, or the finish might fracture, like safety glass that just broke.

-30 with 30-40 mph winds is the coldest I have hunted with one of my selfbows; No problem.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
