JD Berry viper
« on: March 01, 2023, 10:11:10 PM »
Just received a used viper and wondering what type of string material I should be using. The bow has horn tips which I’ve heard are good for fast flight material but this being an older bow wondering if that’s ok or not. Believe the bow to be built in 91 or 92. Thanks

I bought/ordered a Yahew (spelling) from them (the brothers) back when I read about them in Trad. Bow hunting Mag. They told me they tested their bows with wire, and any string material could be used.

And the little bug on their bows, if they still do that was a cricket. It meant good luck.
