Gentlemen, it’s advertising that pays for publishing a newspaper or magazine. Learned that way back when newspapers were a dime and magazines were a quarter. We did a cost analysis in my graphic arts (printing) class. Remember those Sunday papers with all the color sections full of adds? The Chicago Tribune weighed a couple pounds. The paper used costed almost the newsstand price. The internet has killed print advertising like we knew it. I liked that magazine but somehow I didn’t get a renewal, print or internet.

The problem is not the digital format, that's going to be an economic necessity. The problem is that the website, which is the only way to subscribe or buy the magazine, doesn't work well. Many of the links don't work, info links are grouped under "shop", the pdf back issues purchases don't work for some computer and phone systems, and the contact info doesn't work. The subscription info page does not say if it's paper or pdf.  It says it is "available for download through apple or android" but I have no idea what that means as I have not found it on either system. In general, the website is so poorly designed that it discourages people from giving them money.

If some of you know Tom C and can actually communicate with him, please recommend that he find someone to fix the website before it finishes driving him out of business. I would hate to see us lose yet another good trad archery publication.

One more thing, the latest available issue to purchase is Summer 2022, which gives the impression that they're already closed down. Is that true?

I just bought some pdf back issues form them. They took my money but the confirmation process doesn't work (maybe because I'm on a Mac?) so I can't actually get the magazines.  The last time this happened it took several months to get it straightened out. This is why they're having trouble.
