I'm curious as to why 1916's in the camo hunters take a X nock and the Autumn Orange 1916's take a G nock?
Just got the email, mine are on the way. Now to figure what colors I want to use. Orange and black, blue, yellow? Yes, I like making arrows.
Roger, here is a set of old school 2016 autumn orange I did this winter, I cut the swagged nock tip off so I could use the uni bushing These are 29 1/2" to valley of the nock I have 175 grain tips on these and shoot them out of my 45-50# bows. The fletch is a 5" shield that I burn. I have also done some 5" modified bananna fletch with my burner if you are interested, a little bigger than parabolic, but a little smaller than regular banannas.Jason
I’m not familiar with a lot of the gear people talk about. Just after getting back into it recently. A little in the last 5-6 years. Or touch longer. But I’ve been seeing people all excited about these autumn orange arrows. Then it dawned on me that I had aluminum arrows from early to mid 1990s I thought that are at my parents house. I did shoot a few maybe 9-10 years ago a little but I don’t ever recall what they were. I’m wondering if I don’t have a few of these. What’s so special about them?
Nice looking arrows, I am thinking blue and Orange on a bright blue wrap?
I received my 2 dozen yesterday, they look great! Heading to the post office to send 6 off to my buddy Ray Lyon!
