I'm curious as to why 1916's in the camo hunters take a X nock and the Autumn Orange 1916's take a G nock?

They informed us right before they shipped they would be G nock. I learned this morning though, it was because they put the wrong UNI-bushing in them is all. So instead of them having to cut the shaft shorter to put the right bushing in, we told them to ship them as is. So, future ones should be with the X nock UNI-bushing, but these wont be.

Just got the email, mine are on the way. Now to figure what colors I want to use. Orange and black, blue, yellow? Yes, I like making arrows.

The 1916 size just arrived and being made up. We didn't get as many as these as we did the other sizes, so don't delay if you want them. I don't suspect they will last too long.

I’m not familiar with a lot of the gear people talk about. Just after getting back into it recently. A little in the last 5-6 years. Or touch longer.  But I’ve been seeing people all excited about these autumn orange arrows.   Then it dawned on me that I had aluminum arrows from early to mid 1990s I thought that are at my parents house.   I did shoot a few maybe 9-10 years ago a little but I don’t ever recall what they were.  I’m wondering if I don’t have a few of these.  What’s so special about them?

The nostalgic feel of them is part of it. Many folks used this model "back in the day" and they were discontinued, so having them back warms the heart. Aluminum offers a lot of precision and tight tolerances, so you get a better arrow. Then, well, the price is pretty darn attractive too. Outside of that, I'm sure folks can share more about what makes them special to them. These are just my thoughts.

I’ll be home within a a day or so. But they’re a further 1.5 hours away. Sometime within two weeks I should grab them. I’m certain it’s what they were. Not sure the spine. I’d put feathers on them and wraps. They had only plastic vanes.

A big shout out to 3 Rivers for getting the reintroduction of the Autumn Orange shafts done. I loved them back in the 1980s -- they looked so beautiful when completed with a dip, crest, and fletching. I think this reintroduction will be very popular.

Well done ---  :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
