Went well even tho I wondered if the mule tape was close enough on the hose. Used 60 psi in hose . Glue lines are great .

To wrap the tape on do you air up the hose a bit to give it form, then run the tape and hit it with full pressure after?

Mike, 1 3/8”

I didn’t air the hose , just wrapped the tape and then aired it...

James, it will end up about 37-38 lbs at 28" and 68" ntn

John, I'd like to shoot one more but the grip and I just don't mesh well.  If I put a grip I like on one , I'd be tarred and feathered...

You’re already tarred and feathered with limb width.  Need to lose 1/4” or more.  So you might as well dish he heck out of it.  :biglaugh:

The main idea was to see if you could make a simple form and use the mule tape to glue it up.

I may convert my other forms to pegs and use the mule tape.  Much lighter to move to heat box. :) :)

Why not C-clamps? They work really well and you can "Feel" the pressure exrted during glue up

c clamps will lose pressure as the epoxy cures.  You don't get that with the hose and mule tape.

I like the air hose because it exerts the same pressure full length where I may have varying squeeze in places.

And if you don't go over the clamps several times, as the glue squeezes out, they may become loose.

Didn’t like the first clear glass tip overlay layer , should have gone black or green.

Now to figure out what to do with her, she just ain’t my style … :biglaugh:
