Yeah Gunner, I'm not a fan of the rubber as it would be my last resort.  Well, having to keep up with another glove actually would be....

I don't like the fact that the rubber wont let the wood breath underneath very well and they can be a real pain to get on some bows. Mostly high wristed gripped bows.

I'm a leather fan, but have one baseball bat wrap on my Big River recurve to get the grip a smidgeon thicker.  With use and heat/weather I have a couple leather grips that are pretty smooth.  I usually hunt with a light nylon camo glove on my hand to cover the skin glare.

I have two Liberty’s with leather, a PLX with Beaver, and Tall Tines recurve with checkering. I like them all. I’m not a fan of smooth wood.
