Thanks for the replies guys! I tried some of this. The hot water and pliers trick worked for me on the bearpaw nocks (seem to be a harder plastic) but not the Bohning. They get soft and the top just twists off as someone mentioned. I then tried the alcohol burner flame. It did peel off that way, but wasn’t the easiest. I may just have to try a couple more to get the hang of it. Anyway, thanks again for all the tips, I appreciate it!
Never tried nock pliers, gonna have to give that a whirl.

If you practice with a nock on a glue on aluminum shaft; you will find that you can crack the nock length ways pretty much without any heat source with the pinchers. The trick on wood is to modify the pressure not to damage the wood fibers...so you use the heated water.I can remember an occasional nock that was hard to get off by the above method and I would resort to just getting a breakoff snap blade knife and indenting small numerous cuts and all the way around the bottom of the nock; pushing very carefully up the nock (along the taper) each time. A couple of times around the nock and it usually pops off.
I gently heat them over an alcohol burner flame until the plastic softens then twist off with pliers or use a knife to whittle it off.
