Point or insert?
« on: August 13, 2023, 03:46:12 PM »
If I am removing 25 grains from my hunting arrow, should I take the point from 150 to 125 or take the insert from 75 to 50. Or does it matter at all?  Thanks in advance.

It won't make a difference to the arrow as far as flight goes.

This really belongs on the Powwow....

Answer, I always choose a head with more hardware. Always.

Won't affect arrow flight enough to notice.  Depending on the broadhead design, it could change the size of the head.
