Single bevel head and straight fletch
« on: August 20, 2023, 03:05:29 PM »
I realize that with left wing fletch you should shoot left bevel and same as the.right wing..however can a person shoot 4 fletch arrows that are  straight fletch? Thanks I'm asking for a friend

Yes you can, but even "straight" fletching will have some rotation due to the feather "wing".
I have been shooting slightly offset fletching, matching the feather orientation to the broadhead bevel, without noticing any issue compared to arrows with a more pronounced helical.

Optimuly match the bevel with the wing feather type, ie right and right and should be good without offset.
shoot straight shoot often

Straight fletch with no offset or helical and broadheads is a disaster in the making. I will not be arguing or debating this topic.

Just for.the record I've tried to tell buddy that probably wasn't the best idea. Think I have him convinced that he should stick with the helical and his 4 inch feathers..thanks
