USPS claim update.
« on: September 05, 2023, 04:47:23 PM »
My first claim was rejected. Then did an appeal. Local PO main guy filed all this for me. He said he tried to check on it and they won't even talk to him about it.
He suggested that I get in touch with my congressman and tell him the story maybe something gets done.
Anyone ever hear of that or is it smoke?

I've never done that but considered it a couple times.  They sell insurance then don't want to back it. That's wrong no matter how you look at it.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

No point in buying the extra.  Save the ins fees and it will probably cover the occasional loss.

Rejected for what reason ?

R U the shipper or recipient?

Never heard the congressman excuse before.

I think that only the shipper can make a claim.

Which leaves the recipient out in the cold unless the shipper steps up and makes it right on USPS behalf and then buckles up for the long ride with USPS.

Really?  A congressman?  Hell … might as well call the garbage man for all the good that would do… you’d be better with a lawyer than a damn politician.

What’s the whole story here stic?

Yeah
How long ago was the ship date?
It's still missing?
Did it ship to the USA??
