Venison loin and fried potatoes for breakfast and pbj sandwich for lunch. Supper will probably be back strap sweet corn and more potatoes.

I leave for camp tomorrow morning and I have a full size leg of lamb to put on the fire iron spit along with my usual bury the dutch oven meal plans. Hard hunting takes fuel!

Deer camp is a house for us.  Well, two houses.  A two bedroom,  two bath mobile home and a recently finished two story house.  As such we have full kitchens, grills outside and pretty much all the amenities of home.
This last weekend I had a steak Thursday evening and baked fish Saturday evening.  Hot ham sandwiches the other two nights.  I'm round for a reason. :biglaugh:
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

From scratch Mac and cheese, not the box junk.

You guys have some nice deer "camps". My son and I are headed to the national forest for a week. There's currently a fire ban and I don't see enough rain in the forecast for that to change. We'll be sleeping in cold tents and eating whatever we can throw together on a two burner propane stove by lantern light.

I'm bringing a lot of canned stuff, some boiled eggs and a ham that my wife will cook before we leave. The eggs will be boiled before leaving home too because we have to carry in all of our water.

If the weather is fit for hunting there won't be much time for cooking.
