The first 9 days of December have been awesome!
I took the doe on the 1st in OKlahoma. Shot her at 15 yards but I couldn’t find blood in them pine needles despite making a good shot. Called a friend with her Bavarian Mountain hound puppy and she trailed the doe 750 yards!
Drove to Kansas on the 6th arriving at noon. Got settled into my stand at 2pm. The big bodied 9pt came in just before dark. I shot him at 15 yards and he went down in sight about 60 yards.
Drove south to Oklahoma and shot this beautiful main frame 9pt on the 9th with a split brow and a 3” kicker off the base! Blessed beyond words!
