I’m not exactly “narrow” in the rear end area, but have never thought that the seat was anything but very comfortable. As I mentioned in a previous post, I add a thin pad to it and can sit for hours with no issue.

But that’s just my experience. I’m guessing what’s comfortable to some may not be to others. I’m really happy with mine, though.

I really like the idea of the PAC Seat. As I have gotten older I have started going from the trees to the ground more. Currently I use both a Millennium Tree Seat and Millennium Blind Chair, both work great, but looking at the PAC Seat I can see where it could work better.

1CANVAS , I to used to have the MILLINIUM Tree seat , the tree seat is very comfortable quiet and light weight , I liked it a lot. But , I kept finding places that I felt the Pac seat would work better in. I finally bought one and love it , I sold the Millinium. The PAC seat is much more versatile

Love my Pac seat use it all the time comfortable no issues. I do use a 1" therma seat with it on long sits.

I use mine more and more, especially since moving to the mountains 3 years ago.  I tried a bunch of different packs and attachments for the seat, but was never satisfied with them.  Either they flopped and made noise while hiking in, or they took too long to attach and remove.  I bought the game they make and it’s a game changer.  It’s quiet and no need to attach/remove—I just keep it on there.  Plenty of room for extra layers, food etc.

I've been interested in these for awhile now. On a recent hunt I had a chance to sit in one. They're great seats, but for me at 6'6" they just sit too low to the ground. If they ever make a "tall" version, I'll be all over it.

They do make a taller version, I have one. At least when David owned it, it was an option.

I have other options, but use my Pac Seat more than the others.

The Waldrop Company - Good to hear that most have enjoyed our seat. Again, these are hand made right here in Georgia from start to finish. We realize it is not a fit for everyone and totally respect that. We greatly appreciate everyone that have given us a chance and tried the seat. We feel it is the best ground hunting seat in the world and stand behind it 100%. We hope to be making some addional addons to the seat in the future. Happy Hunting!!!

Without a doubt it’s the best piece of bowhunting equipment I’ve bought in a long time. It’s with me every time I’m hunting whitetails, even if I’m going to a lock on it’s at the bottom of my tree if the wind changes or I see a buck chasing a hot doe to far out of range, I can move  to where I need to be. It keeps me mobile when I need to be and still when I need to be. If I lost it somehow I’d buy another immediately, can’t be without it now.

I have one of the earlier versions. If I am not elevated I am in my seat. I love it. I also use it at all my grandkids games or just sitting around the campfire. Made in America.

Researching the pack seat I see the biggest complaint was the seat, being only 14” wider can see why. I like the idea, it looks like it would be great but a 14” sling seat doesn’t sound comfortable. If the seat was wider I would buy one.

Try one at a show or something.....it is very comfortable.....I'm 225 and not skinny by any stretch.

Just a few more questions, where the bolts go through the tubing is there and bushings?
Secondly, that bottom back bar that is on the ground wouldn’t work for me setting up against the tree due to roots coming from the tree, how does the seat work when leaning against the tree with just the front legs touching the ground?

There are washes that act as spacers on the bolts. Once powder coated, they are lubbed. There is no play in them. In regards to the rear leg, the rear leg when carrying or when leaning against a tree should always be in the upright position.  There is a strap at the top of the seat that is made to lock/strap the rear leg up.

Usually on better quality tree stand they have Teflon or nylon bushings to eliminate squeaks.
