Season is almost over, winter is here, I need some reading suggestions.  What have you read lately that you liked?

If you like vintage bowhunting books before the compound these two are a good choice.

Down page there is a thread started by Wudstix about Don Thomas’ latest book. It’s as good as any he had written. JMHO etc.

X2 on David Petersen. And if you can find a copy, Hunting Alaska's Wild Rivers by Jay Massey is exceptional.

Not necessarily all trad, but all bowhunting and hands down my favorite bowhunting book is Barebow by Dennis Dunn. It's a big book, but once you start it it's very difficult to put down. I'm on the my 4th or 5th time through it right now.
Other similar books that I've really enjoyed (again not necessarily trad but good hunting story's with lots of diversity) are Super Slam by Chuck Adam's and Adventure Bowhunter by Tom Miranda.

Any of Gene and Barry's books are golden. Charlie's book is great also.

I also have a couple of Fred's books, outstanding as well.

If you're looking for some good humor, any of the books by Pat Macmanus.
