Bow Quiver Question?
« on: January 04, 2024, 11:12:23 AM »
I just recently got back into shooting again after a long break and picked up a nice used Palmer takedown recurve. The riser has two bushings on the face of the riser that Mr. Palmer told me were for a quiver mount. The question I didn't get answered was what mounts work on the face of the riser?  I know the limb mount option will work but haven't had any luck figuring out what works for the installed bushings?

Thanks

Erick;
I believe the threads for bow mounted equipment are universal.  I haven't had anything screwed into a bow in years though.

Take a look at Selway or Thunderhorn for a good bolt on. I have used them on several bows. I have an older Border that the bolts/bushings are recessed flush with the limbs and a bolt on does not fit as well. I prefer bolt ons over straps ons, but that is a personal preferance. Straps ons are usually lighter.

You'll usually find some good deals on quivers in the classifieds

Good luck

A picture of the quiver bushings on your bow would be helpful.

I think your right.Their are quivers with brackets that fit those inserts.You mentioned Delta and their may be another one or 2 that were more popular years ago before all the new options for quiver attachments that mounted with inserts installed like on your bow.Seem to out of the loop these days.
